*This ring is a second due to there being a small indent in the clay on one edge, which isn't visible when it's being worn*
This bold porcelain ring is handmade and completely unique. It is designed and made by me in my studio in Oxford. Because of the making process, each is a one-off.
I use coloured pigments mixed with white porcelain to create colours and patterns within the ring. After firing, the surface is polished to create a smooth tactile surface.
This unique ring is carved from jade green hand-coloured porcelain, with a black coloured porcelain running through the inside.
Ring size: approx. P 1/2 UK or 18 mm internal diameter.
Band thickness: 4mm
The size may vary slightly due to the nature of the piece, please contact me if you have any questions about the sizing and I'll be happy to help.
If any marks get onto your jewellery, you can wash them off with soap and water.
The ring is fired to a high temperature and is a strong material. However, it can still be fragile if dropped onto a hard surface so I would recommend putting on and taking off your jewellery over a soft surface.
There may be subtle differences in the finished surface of the piece, as it is carefully handmade and goes through many processes, adding to the character and individuality of the ring.
I also have an FAQ's page, but if you have any other questions please do get in touch, thank you for looking!
