A beautiful, minimal hand carved pot with black marbling into white porcelain. These pots can be used stand alone as an ornament, or for small items like jewellery.
 
All of my work is hand built in my studio in East Oxford. Before making each piece, I colour sections of clay with pigments. These colours are then marbled or layered by hand into white clay, to form unique patterns embedded into the work's surface and making each piece a one-off.
 
They are fired to 1200 ̊C, then polished by hand to create a smooth tactile surface.
 
Each piece is made carefully by hand which means that they are all unique. By their nature they may reveal small imperfections which are all part of their handmade character.
