This piece is part of a body of work exploring ideas around our connection to nature and parallels with our internal world.
 
With inclusion of light and dark areas, layers of clay, detail and space, the work hints at the multiple things we hold at once, and the possibility to be present within them.
 
The piece is created by intricately layering coloured clay, an experimental process informed by years of working with agateware and nerikomi techniques, and coloured clay bodies.
 
This wall based work comes ready to hang, with a makers mark on the back.
