Super tactile and comfortable to wear, this minimal ring is handmade and completely unique. Each one is designed and made by me in my studio in Oxford, and is one of a kind.
I use coloured pigments mixed with white porcelain to create colours and patterns within the ring. After firing, the surface is polished to create a smooth tactile surface.
This ring is carved from white porcelain clay, with dark orange and black inlay on both sides of the ring.
Ring size: approx. V 1/2 UK, or 20.5 mm internal diameter.
Band thickness: 5mm
Which ring size is for me?
If you don’t know your ring size, you could measure across the inside of a ring you already have – I’ve noted this measurement as the diameter on the listing.
You can measure the widest part of the knuckle on the finger you’d like to wear the ring on, and this will give you a guide to the diameter of the ring, but will vary a little with hand shape.
I do wear some of mine slightly bigger, and sometimes on the same finger as other rings, but it will really depend on how you would like it to feel and on your individual hand shape.
I understand that choosing rings online can be tricky, so I’m happy to exchange a ring if it’s not the right fit.
The size may vary slightly due to the nature of the piece, please contact me if you have any questions about the sizing and I'll be happy to help.
If any marks or make up get onto your jewellery, you can wash them off with soap and water.
The ring is fired to a high temperature and is a strong material. However, it can still be fragile if dropped onto a hard surface so I would recommend putting on and taking off your jewellery over a soft surface.
I may have other colours or sizes in the studio that are not listed on my website. Do drop me an email if you have seen something on Instagram that is not shown here, or if you would like to make an appointment to come to the studio to try some on and choose your own.
There may be subtle differences in the finished surface of the piece, as it is carefully handmade and goes through many processes, adding to the character and individuality of the ring.
I also have an FAQ's page, but if you have any other questions please do get in touch, thank you for looking!
