*There are some small surface marks in the body of the clay.*

These small stud earrings are handmade and completely unique. They are designed and made by me in my studio in East Oxford. Because of the making process, each pair is a one-off.

I use coloured pigments mixed with white porcelain to create colours and patterns within the clay. After firing, the earring is polished to create a smooth tactile surface.

This pair is made from green hand-coloured porcelain, on a base of black porcelain (just visible from the sides). The earring posts are sterling silver.

Size:

Approx. 11mm x 11mm

Care Instructions:

The porcelain is fired to a high temperature and is a strong material. However, it can still be fragile if dropped onto a hard surface so I would recommend putting on and taking off your jewellery over a soft surface.

If any marks get onto your jewellery, you can wash them off with soap and water.

There may be subtle differences in the finished surface of the earrings, as they are carefully handmade and go through many processes, adding to the character and individuality of the earrings.

It is important to me as a maker to consider the environmental impact of my work. This is an ongoing process and I'm always looking for new ways to reduce the impact of what I'm making. When sending out my ceramics, all packaging is plastic -free. You can find out more about this here.
